Weddings: The families are progressing super well! Thank you so much for your prayers because 2 of the families almost didn't make the date to be married, but the state extended one week more!! Haha its so crazy. So 1 couple was on track, everything ready, the other couple just decided to do their own wedding and not the massive, and the other two couples hadnt been able to complete every requirement but were so happy when they received one more week to finish everything to be married on September 6th!

Temple: We are taking America (a less active sister that we rescued) and her daughter J (who was baptized on july 4th) to the temple this friday along with another family, J and her daughter! Its going to be so cool!

Baptisms: We have 2 on track for their baptismal date on the 29th of August, one is M, she is 11, we are reactivating her family and her dad who was against the church has softened his heart and is allowing her to be baptized because she really wants to! The other is Hermano J, he is one of the couples getting married, his wife was less active, they are getting married on the 27th in their own wedding and he wants to be baptized on the 29th! All of this is so amazing and makes me so happy and there are many other families like this that we are reactivating and finding others who are prepared to make this sacred convenient with God,

Testimony: Baptism is awesome! Im so happy I was baptized and now I get to thank the Lord by helping others have Faith in Him, Repent of their sins and transgressions, be Baptized, receive the gift of the Holy Ghost, and Endure until the end! Follow Gods commandments and you will be blessed. I think about how happy I could be in life with out the Gospel, but then I realize that its multiplied by 100 because I DO have the Gospel in my life, and with so many blessing that God has given me, it is my sacred duty to help others feel this same amazing happiness and joy. God Lives, He is our Father. Jesus Christ lives and is our Savior. They both love us soo much. There are so many blessings prepared for us, they are just waiting until we take that one step in the darkness and show them how big our faith is. Don't hesitate. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Love you, Have a great week!

August 10, 2015

Things are going very very well. I am really happy. I have 4 months here in Las Lomas and wow its great, 2 weeks left until the transfer and then I'm sure Ill head out, leaving the area to my companion. We are working harder than ever. We have a great vision of where we want to go and what we need to do to help these very special families come unto Christ. This week we had lots of cool and spiritual experiences. The families that we are teaching are progressing very well. The wedding plans are going well. Some small challenges, but the spirit is guiding us. We have plans to bring some recent converts and families recently activated to the temple the 19th! Stoked for all of the amazing progress and we are praying that it can all turn into souls saved in the Kingdom of God. That is our 1 goal, save souls. The worth of souls is great in the sight of God. Continue with faith and be strong.

fotos: a cool dog, and a food called pachamanca, cooked underground. Chicken, lamb, pork, potatoes, sweet potatoes, some peruvian vegetables, small grain wraps called humitas with cinamon (super good) and all with amazing flavoring and sauces, its super super tastey

August 3, 2015

This week is going to be soo awesome because we have a list of every member and we are going to find the less actives and also get to know all of their neighbors haha. Our biggest priorities this week are 4 families that are going to get married this month! One couple are both less active members baptized as kids and just now reactivating and seeing the importance of marriage, the other is a less active sister who's future husband is now investigating the church, she is reactivating and he is going to be baptized at the end of the month, and the other two are investigators getting married so that they can be baptized! This is the plan, and we need lots of help and prayers so that they can all get married on the 23 of August! (here they have 2 or 3 times a year what is called a massive wedding where its a little cheaper and easier to get married all on the same day) Its very difficult to get married here sometimes for the people that come from other departments or also from the jungle or places not so advanced, so the biggest trial is getting all of their papers gathered and up to date. We have been working with these families for the whole 3 months that I have been here and this is the big opportunity! Please include them in your prayers! They are soo cool! Im going to be soo happy for them when they can finally have the blessing of being married and then prepare to be sealed in the temple!

PerĂº is great, I love it so much, its such a reality check in every aspect and its amazing this earth that God has given us. Our choices determine our destiny! Make good choices, love God and Love one another. Love you so much! Have a great week!

July 27, 2015

These have been a couple of awesome weeks!

We are working a lot with the less families here and its so awesome!! Practically everyone has a wide knowledge of what they need to do, but the problem is the desire to do it. So what we do is teach the doctrine and show how amazing are the blessings that they aren't receiving.

Imagine that God is just sending us down blessing like rain, but sometimes our decisions make it like we are putting up an umbrella and impeding these blessings from reaching us. Put away your umbrella! Let God bless your lives and allow him to change your heart! He is the only one that is capable of making this change in our lives, but we are the only ones capable of allowing him to do it! What is stopping you from allowing the blessings from heaven change your life?

Love you so much! Make good choices! You are a child of God! Don't forget it!

July 20, 2015

I stayed in my area! Yes! I am still with my "son" (his greenie)! Yes! Haha I'm having a really good time! There is sooo much work to do here and I am so stoked that we stayed here. My district is the same because the other 2 Elders stayed the same as well! We are having a lot of success and there have been so many awesome changes in the ward! Everything is shooting up! We haven't had a real Ward Mission Leader for 3 months! Ever since I got here. But finally we have a sweet Ward Mission Leader who was set apart yesterday who we already know because he is awesome, he served in Mexico, and just got home from is mission about 3 years ago. The members here are so awesome and I have great relationships with all of them. I love being a missionary, sometimes its tough but you gotta sift through to mud to find the Gold!

I pray for you always and I sure hope that things are more than well there at home. There are soo many strong members there at home, and sometimes we think that there is no one else cause we are all already members, but you have to search, ponder and pray! There are people everywhere that need their thirst of the Everlasting Gospel quenched! Think of the love that Jesus had for us when he suffered on the cross... He didn't do it just for me, or just for you. He did it for every single person to ever live but they don't know that until one us tells them! Be bold, every member is a missionary and everyone of us can change a life. D&C 18:10-16 the worth of souls is great in the sight of God. I know this work is true, it requires diligence, and passion. Most of all it requires charity. I love you all so much and I pray that you will also have the blessings and opportunities to work in this amazing work as well. In the Name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Have a great week!!!

July 13, 2015

I am so happy about all of the youth going out and serving (gave him an update on current Calls) !! These really are the best two years! Not the best 2 years OF our life but the best 2 years FOR our lives!! We learn sooo much!! We have to take advantage of every single experience and trial that our Heavenly Father gives us! Apart from learning a whole new language, in what ever mission you serve, state side or out, you learn to speak the language of the spirit, which is the most important language that we can ever learn. The most important thing we can do is develop every single one of the amazing gifts God gives us and the Gift of the Holy Spirit is definitely the most important of all of them. (D&C 11:12-14)

I love this ward so much and I love my district! There are Transfers tomorrow and I really don't want to go haha, we still don't know but I sure hope I stay!! We are still playing soccer every morning and I love it! I am so much better than Parker and Kaden now! haha.

We are having so much progress with the less active families that we are visiting and they are all so awesome!! I love finding new people to teach and helping them put their lives in order!! How amazing is that! We are helping drug addicts, alcohol addicts, every type of family problem, and we, through the spirit of God, are able to make huge differences for these people! I can't imagine it, where would I be if I wasn't serving a mission. It really is amazing how God can take someone as bad as me, and make me into such an influence in helping the lives of others who's needs are much greater. That really is completing the doctrine of Mosiah 3:19 that basically says ''Put off the natural man and let the Atonement of Christ change you completely'' Always learning, and improving.

To finish, this week we saw a miracle! There is a less active family that we have been teaching, Monday night when we were on the way back to the house it was about 8:40 and we never start lessons after 8:30 but we felt strongly to pass by this house to at least say hi and make sure everything was okay. We got there and only their daughter was home, we talked a minute, everything goin good and before saying bye like always we ask¨Hay algo mas que podemos hacer para ayudar¨ (something else we can do to help?  she tells us, ¨yeah we lost our dog a few days ago if you could please keep an eye out for him.¨Yeah lo maximo, so we go about our week, don't really think much about it. Thursday coming home from the district meeting, way down where the buses get off, we start walking and out of no where, we see a familiar dog approaching us. It was him! The lost dog! He recognized us and came. So we called the family and stayed with him until the mom came to get him and when they were reunited it was such a special moment! But the thing more amazing is that they came to church this Sunday and when we visited them in the night they said ¨Wow, we were so happy when our dog came back, and it made us think, how happy our Heavenly Father must be when we come back to him.¨ It was the best.

God really does guide us, the small and simple things that sometimes we dont understand at the moment, all ways have a grand purpose in the plan of God. There are miracles everywhere and we have to be alert to the whispers of the spirit . God works in mysterious ways, we need to always be humble enough to follow his will and he will bless us immensely.

July 6, 2015

Well this week was super awesome! We are keeping strong inviting so many people to come visit us at church and taking out so many visits to come back, this week is full of visits of people that we met this week to come back and teach. The people are super open to listen, its just the fact of understanding sometimes.

We had some awesome things that happened this week! E.one of our recent converts from the end of May got to go to the Temple this week to be baptized for some of her ancestors!! The other awesome things was that my companion got to baptize his first convert! She shared her testimony afterwards and wow, powerful. She is going to be a true convert! It's awesome this work. It's super fun, super trying, and wow super worth it. I have grown so much spiritually and am learning such amazing things that I am applying every day. Very humbling as well. All around, unbelievable. God Lives.

1 year in the mission! 4th of July zone meeting with Elder Peterson (from Arizona) who is from my group, high fiving for one year down.

The Baptism, my companion baptized her and it was awesome. She is a true convert.
