June 22, 2015

We went to the center again Monday! It was sweet. In front of a huge super old Catholic church. We went in and saw lots of old artifacts, and also the huge grave underneath with the skeletons.

This was a truly great week. We worked so hard with out stopping! Vision, Goals, and Plans. Plan A B and C and when in doubt....

Contact. We shared the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ this week with 78 new people! We had 12 new investigators this week alone, and we are close to rescuing 4 less active families.23 lessons in total this week. There is one sister that will be baptized the 4th of July! 2 days after I complete 1 year in the mission!!! I Don't care about the numbers. I'm not here to say I have high numbers, but the numbers represent how hard you are working. And I truly can say I am here to work hard. One of my best friends in the mission who went home in March is Elder Haught. In his last transfer of the mission he hit every single goal of excellence every single week 25 lessons, 70 contacts, 10 new investigators, and 1 new with baptismal date. And I thought wow that is so awesome that he was able to finish so strongly! But recently I thought, why do I have to wait..? I'm going to do it right now and every single transfer for the next year I am here. I have to take advantage of my time here and do all I can with it!

My companion has just barely 4 weeks in the mission and he is loving it! He can get distracted easily so that's why I don't want to leave any space unoccupied. We plan efficiently, but when those plans fall through, we don't waste time, we search for unknown addresses of members and contact everyone we can. Of these 78 new people that we shared the Gospel with, a very small percent of them really were interested, only a few accepted that we visit them in their house to teach them more, such a small percent. But, when I meet someone by sharing the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ with them, it makes me happy. It gives me strength, and most importantly, I feel the spirit.

We are all Children of God, and sadly, there are so many people that don't know this piece of such amazing information. Even if people spit at me, send their dogs out, slam the door in my face, don't accept our message.... the least I can do is let them know that they are children of God and by loving them no matter what, we can help them feel even just a small part of how much God really does love every single one of his children. It is the best! I can speak Spanish! The Lord has given us special gifts to do all we can here! We have to take advantage of every single moment! Because if we don't..... who will? Love you guys so so much and I am loving every minute here in Peru! Have a great week!

Love,

Elder Lambson :)
