April 4, 2016 - 77 days until Elder Lambson's release date

My new companion is from Chihuahua, Mexico! His name is Elder Moreno. He is so cool haha. We are working together for a week now and we have already seen so many miracles. He came here for an emergency transfer just 3 weeks before the transfer, so both of us are learning the area haha. But the Lord is definitely guiding us, we found 9 new investigators to teach this week and they are all so solid!

We got to go back to Vitarte on Saturday to see D's Baptism. She is such an amazing convert. Wow, I'm never going to forget her. 

I loved conference. It was extraordinary. I felt like the messages were EXACTLY what I needed. The reaction was awesome in general conference,(to the announcement of a new Temple)  everyone yelped with happiness for the new temple. The current temple is on the east, I'm pretty sure the 2nd one will be in the north.

This was such an amazing week! It went so perfect. Saturday was the best day ever! I prayed so much that everything would go perfectly and that it would be the will of the Lord. 5:20 futbol as a zone, so fun. Then prepare the baptismal font and rooms, studies and Conference all day was amazing. Then after the second session the baptisms went perfectly! Both who were baptized (F & J) came on time with their families, we had a full room and for the first time in my whole mission the baptism started on time! That's what I call a miracle :) haha. Everything went amazing and then we went together with F to watch the Priesthood session. Wow it was the most perfect day and I know that God guided every single moment and if we wouldn't have trusted and gone to him (F the new convert) this wouldn't have happened.

This was taken last week on the field on Pday, me Elder Haught, Elder Balderrama, and Elder Gutierrez. We all live together and its the best!




Last Pday was awesome, we played soccer, capture the flag, and ultimate Frisbee. You guys are real latter day saints, doing all of the little things like watching the movies and videos and reading your scriptures and have your callings in the ward, seriously that is amazing! There are so many members of the church that have just kind of faded away here. There is a scripture in Alma 37 : 6 and 7 that says by the smalls things, great things will come to pass. I love that scripture because its so true, and we really do need to always remember that we are latter day saints.

Conference was super awesome! I watched it all in Spanish! Understood a lot but I guess you could say it wasn't as deep haha. But I still loved it and it was awesome that I really did understand most. I love our family so much and all of our awesome friends in the Ward and other places. You and Dave should read the book Our Search For Happiness by Russel M Ballard it is so good and really helps us understand everything about the church and about our lives. Thank you so much for all of the packages and everything! You really are the best mom ever and I am so glad for all of our memories!

Super cool you guys are watching Conference and Football!! I check my emails from a little internet place, they are all over the place. Kids are always playing on the internet and they pay 1 sole each hour its like 30 cents American. Sounds cool there is a LDS new movie. That's fun you guys got to watch Conference together. We have some great memories. Thank you for raising us great mom. We are watching General Conference at the Stake Center next Saturday and Sunday as a stake (not everyone has internet in their homes to watch it) so that will be cool. Its cool cause it gives the Investigators (we are inviting four different families) the opportunities to attend ¨church¨.

Everything is going super great! I'm super happy and I'm learning sooo much! I am happy that you guys are happy. Haha I don't really know what else to say.

Today for Pday we are playing capture the flag it should be super cool! The time is flying here, how is it already October haha. I was in high school last year and now I'm out here trying to change peoples lives for the better. Love you!
